easy to follow macrobiotic diet

hey, everyone! on a weekend morning, there's not much more i love than the smell of something baking in the oven for breakfast. so i've teamed up with pillsbury this holiday season to make that a

easy to follow macrobiotic diet, reality, with these cinnamon sugar knots, made with pillsbury grands! biscuits. i like the buttermilk variety for this. there are 8 biscuits in the container, so you'll roll out

each round of biscuit dough until it's about nine inches long. then, make a simple knot! place that on your cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or silicone liner. repeat with the rest of the biscuit dough in the package. then you'll need 1 tablespoon of melted unsalted butter, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, which you'll mix

with four tablespoons of granulated sugar and some turbinado sugar to top. brush the melted butter over each knot then sprinkle on the cinnamon-sugar, finishing with a bit of the turbinado sugar, which will glisten beautifully after being baked -- giving the cinnamon-sugar knots a nice polished look. bake at 350 degrees fahrenheit for 20

minutes until nicely browned on the outside. i love these best while they're still warm. enjoy! well that's just delightful. my favorite is on weekends, when connor and i can leisurely get ready for the day, the smell of these filling the apartment, and sit together to enjoy them fresh from the oven.

they're great by themselves, or... and then you know what i like to do? i like to put a little raspberry jelly on top. it just makes me so happy. with a little coffee on the side... i can't think of a better way to start the weekend. as always, ladies and gents, don't forget keep it quirky!
